# The CWS Foundation

> The CWS Foundation is a planned nonprofit set up by the grandchildren of Clyde W. Snyder (1933–2022).
> Clyde's grandchildren will write its mission together and vote on it every year. The 2023 CWS Family
> Trust has committed annual, ongoing funding beginning in 2028. The foundation has not yet been formed,
> and it is not asking for or accepting donations.

Every commitment on the site carries a status: Live (true today), Designed (agreed in principle; details
being worked out by the family) or Planned (committed for the date shown; not yet in effect).

## Clyde W. Snyder

Clyde W. Snyder (1933–2022) was an artist and a teacher. He taught art at Pinebrook Junior College in
Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and served as an elder of the Bible Fellowship Church for sixty years. He held
his faith dear, and he loved his family and friends whoever they called their God. He loved fishing trips
and family gatherings; fishing is the foundation's visual theme.
